Assessment of Educational Standards

At the elementary and secondary education, assessment of educational standards, based on National Standards for Education in Indonesia consists of:
  1. Assessment of learning outcomes by educators on an ongoing basis to monitor the process, progress, and improvement of the results used to assess the achievement of competencies, material progress reporting learning outcomes, and improve the learning process.
  2. Assessment of learning outcomes by the education unit to assess the achievement of competency standards of the subjects that are not tested on national exams in the form of the final assessment and school exams. Learners should get the same value or greater than the threshold defined by BSNP competence.
  3. Assessment of learning outcomes by the government to assess the achievement of the competence of graduates nationally for science subjects and certain technology in the form of national examinations that are assigned to BSNP and held at least 1 time and a maximum of 2 times in one school year and implemented in an objective, equitable, and accountable.
